Job Description: Motorcycle Service Technician
A Janus Motorcycles Motorcycle Service Technician must provide exemplary technical service of Janus Motorcycles and exemplary customer service via phone, email, and in person to our growing customer base. The candidate must be organized, thorough, and detail- and process- oriented. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our motorcycles that are customer owned and company owned. The candidate will be expected to continue learning and improving along with the company.
The key indicator(s) of excellence in the Motorcycle Service Technician role means:
- Quickly and effectively diagnose and solve service issues with a customer and on customer motorcycles.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Strong communications skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Creating and maintaining logs of issues to build the service knowledge base.
- Proficiency and problem solving in basic motorcycle maintenance.
Individual Responsibilities:
- Create service tickets.
- Maintain correspondence with customers over the phone and email, update service tickets with all correspondence with customers.
- Talk customers through any basic maintenance, service, or first-start requests.
- Learn from current service and assembly technicians.
Reports to:
Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager
Janus Team Duties:
- Attending Janus Discovery Days, shows, and events
- Shop cleanup
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
- Motorcycle service technician experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
