In 2011, Paragon Motorcycles, LLC was established as the legal entity that would launch a new chapter in American motorcycle design and fabrication. Our inaugural project, later featured in the Pipeburn article “Janus Motorcycles — The Paragon,” represents the earliest realized expression of the ideas that continue to guide our work today.

The Motorcycle that launched Janus

While the company was legally named Paragon Motorcycles LLC at its founding, the public identity evolved alongside our product development. After the initial prototype build, documented in the Pipeburn feature, we progressed to the Halcyon 50 model — a refined iteration that marked a clear shift in our design language and strategic direction.

With the Halcyon 50, we adopted Janus Motorcycles, looking to the past and the future, as our business name for all public-facing operations, branding, and marketpresence. Janus has been the name under which our motorcycles are designed, engineered, and presented to the riding community ever since.

In 2024, the organization was converted from Paragon Motorcycles, LLC to Paragon Motorcycles, INC in order to better align with our scale of operations and long term business goals.

Both Paragon Motorcycles, INC and the name Janus Motorcycles have been part of our history since 2011. Paragon remains our legal foundation; Janus remains our public identity and the name by which riders around the world know our work.
