Janus is hiring a welder/fabricator to work at our fabrication shop preparing, welding, and finishing Janus Motorcycles components.
A Janus Motorcycles Metal Fabricator must show exemplary proficiency in the use of heavy machinery, welders, power tools, and precision tools to create components for use on Janus Motorcycles. The candidate must be organized, thorough, and detail- and process- oriented. They will be expected to continue learning and improving along with the company. They must show a willingness to learn, improve, follow processes, and have an unwavering commitment to creating high-quality, road-ready components.
Individual Responsibilities:
  • Use a MIG Welder with high proficiency to create Janus components with a high level of fit and finish
  • Prepare and finish Janus steel components with tube benders, grinders, etc.
  • Create Janus Motorcycles components according to the Production Manager’s schedule.
  • Meet quality standards and production goals.
  • Follow “Standard Processes” for all Janus components and production.
  • Address problems quickly and effectively with the team.
Reports to: Fabrication Foreman, Operations Manager
Works with: Metal Forming Product Lead, Prototype & Design Team, Production Team
Janus Team Duties:
  • Occasional Janus Discovery Days, shows, and events
  • Shop cleanup
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
