The Buyer & Receiver plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires quality products and materials at competitive prices. This position involves collaborating with various departments to manage inventory levels, negotiate contracts, and maintain effective supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of supply chain management to optimize purchasing strategies.

• Smooth flow of parts through our supply chain

Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders based on current stock and upcoming production volume
• Receive stock and check quantities and quality
• Manage several local vendors’ kanban ordering system with our daily “milk run”
• Procure goods and services while ensuring compliance with company processes and budgetary constraints.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory situations.
• Use MRP software to place purchase orders, receive materials, and track stock
• Assist in production planning by coordinating with relevant departments to align supply with demand.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
